Investments that Matter

There are few investments in life that are “sure” things.

The investment of time, energy, and money in a relationship with a son or daughter is one of them.

This past weekend was my annual father/son weekend at Camp Highland in Elijay.

The investment made in a son or daughter is a priceless investment of a lifetime. Though it costs time, money, and energy it pays back multiples that often cannot be quantified.

Giving is kind of like that too.

When you give to the causes that matter to you deeply it pays the charity and the people it serves. But it also pays back the giver.

Jesus said that when you give, that gift is multiplied 100-Fold. That is 10,000 percent.

Wow!

A portion of that reward, in part, can come back to the giver in a tangible way, such as a tax deduction.

A portion of that reward, in part, can come back to the giver in intangible ways, such as feeling good from helping others.

By giving time, energy, and money it is a sure investment where the giver and receiver benefit.

Remind donors of ALL the rewards they receive, and the kind of return that is possible from their giving generously and cheerfully!
