Nearly everyone enjoys dining out at Atlanta’s many great restaurants. This month, you can indulge for a worthy cause by participating at the 21st annual Dining Out For Life.
At Dining Out For Life 2013, you pick from more than 100 participating restaurants to eat, and at least 25% of the bill from your meal will benefit Open Hands, a non-profit organization that delivers 5,000 healthy meals every day to Atlanta residents whose health prevents them from cooking for themselves. Since its founding in 1988, the organization has delivered 20 million meals thanks to the support of volunteers and donors.
Restaurants of all varieties have registered to participate in this fundraiser. Some of these restaurants include Agave, Alma Cocina, Ceviche, Ecco, Portofino, and Six Feet Under.
Dining Out For Life will take place on Wednesday, April 24. Whether you go out for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can feel good that you are supporting nutritious meals for others.
