How should I invest now? (fiscal cliff uncertainty)

You may be hearing the investment media and money managers talk about owning ETF’s as a smart buy in light of market uncertainties.

In a recent article by an ETF sales person, here, three reasons are given for being in an ETF right now.

To me, most investment advisors talk in coded language and the use of ETF language is one of them. So here is a link to the NASDAQ definition of an ETF, here.

Most interesting to me about the definition is the implied uncertainty. Most advisors would say the the uncertainty in the market is certain.

Well, I guess that is true. But when has it ever not been true!

The larger more important uncertainty is in the mind of the investor – personal goals, wealth objectives, family priorities, and desired impact.

Enhanced clarity here pays far greater returns and makes market uncertainty far less uncertain.
