Most of us enjoy the good weather that Georgia has to offer much of the year, especially in the winter. While the rest of the country is de-icing their windshields and shoveling their driveways, Alpharetta residents can take heart that we don’t receive the bad side effects of heavy snowfall.
However, that also means that we miss the good parts of snow: the snow angels, making snowmen, snowball fights, etc. As a parent, you don’t want your kids to miss out on fun winter events, in particular.
Luckily, the City of Alpharetta is bringing to its residents all of the good effects of snow without the annoyances. This December, Historic Downtown’s corner park will be filled with snow!
Bring your kids to experience winter merriment and prepare for snowballs and snowmen. Kids can also visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus while you watch with your hot chocolate or coffee.
This event is free and sure to be fun for the whole family. Snow on the Square will take place in Downtown Alpharetta (2 South Main Street) on Saturday, December 8th from 1pm. to 3pm.
