Famous horror and suspense author Stephen King held a rare book signing in Alpharetta recently. The big event was covered in the local news with an article on the Appen Newspapers site.
King held a book signing at the Alpharetta Walmart Supercenter on Dec. 14, and more than 600 people – some from as far away as California and Hawaii – came to the event. Apparently, Stephen King doesn’t have a lot of book signings but was there to promote his latest book “11/22/63” a fictional account of a man who goes back in time to stop the assignation of President Kennedy. It was just one of two promotional stops across the county, the article said.
