Hope

Needed now more than ever is hope.

Hope in a better life, better community, better relationships, better caring for one another, and more.

Hope.

One industry that has more influence than perhaps any other industry in our country is the leading nonprofits.

The leading nonprofits in the city set a tone and standard for caring for others and how tomorrow can be better than today.

The fundraising conversations, and in particular the planned giving conversations, that development professionals have with donors have greater influence than allocation of dollars.

The conversations are influencing and perpetuating hope.

Because as the nonprofit does its great work and allows donors to be involved in that great work in thought, heart, and deed, hope is spreading.

Never think that the seemingly insignificant conversation with a donor is just about raising money. It is influencing society one donor at a time that hope is here, and hope will prevail.

Who are you talking to this week that needs some hope?

Share some hope with an encouraging story of the life changing work you are doing, and a story of a donor’s life that has changed because of their involvement in the work.
